Very few things are more difficult in this world than a cancer diagnosis, especially when it is an innocent child who is the one being diagnosed. Fighting cancer is already challenging enough for a child physically, mentally, and socially; at the very least, we should provide these children with their dignity.

Luke Lange, the namesake of the charity Luke’s Fastbreaks, had a two-year-long fight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During his time in and out of hospitals and doctors’ offices, Luke became quite frustrated with the hospital gowns he was required to wear, especially the lack of privacy that came with wearing them. He and his mother came up with a solution: customizable t-shirts with medical straps that allow sick children to express themselves while providing the utility of a standard hospital gown.
